History of Ice Fishing

It´s presumable that since the Nordic people saw the light of the day, ice fishing started. It had various forms, some used today. You can argue that this activity - catching fish in wintertime - has been around since 10 000 years. 

How the Ice Fishing is done?

Modern day Ice Fishing is done ice drills, fishing rods and lures. First you clean the ice form snow, then drill a hole, use the rod to level the lure/bait and hopefully catch a fish. 

How to prepare for the Ice Fishing trip?

Ice Fishing trips need especially warm clothes focusing on toes and fingers, from here to coldness usually hits - if it hits. The temperature and wind conditions have a huge effect on fisherman and -women on open ice surface.
